A graduate of Harvard Law School and former U.S. Marine Corps Captain, Joe brings a distinguished record of service and courtroom experience to the firm. His practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, insurance disputes, and anti-fraud and extra-contractual matters.
As an Assistant U.S. Attorney, Joe handled some of Minnesota’s most high-profile federal prosecutions, including the RICO investigation of the Bloods gang, a cartel-linked narcotics conspiracy, the murder of a police officer, and the Feeding Our Future fraud case. He successfully tried multiple jury trials to guilty verdicts.
Joe’s service as a Marine JAG officer included deployment to Iraq in support of Operation Inherent Resolve, where he provided operational legal counsel on strike targeting and military ethics.
